I don’t know what exactly sparked it, but yesterday I did 8 idea skribbles based on this theme. Some work better graphicly, like this one, some would require me to paint them more elaborately. Don’t know how many I’ll pursue in the end, but I felt like executing this idea today.

I’m playing around some more in Blender. This time I went with a material thickness of 2mm, cranked the lens up to 700mm, and used a F-stop of 0.7

My first attept at using 3D with a sort of paper-cut style. Of course it had to be a bird. I used a “white-breasted Nuthatch” as the subject.The distances between layers and the material thickness are exaggerated, but I liked the look so I went with it.
